LG Textile Corp Announces New Premium Apparel Cut and Sew Facility in Sampson County, NC

Clinton, NC – LG Textile Corp, a fabric developer and premium apparel manufacturer, has selected a site in Clinton, North Carolina for its new cut and sew facility. This expansion marks a significant step in the company’s commitment towards producing 100% USA-made textiles and will bring new job opportunities to Sampson County.

The Clinton facility is expected to create 60 to 80 new jobs in 2025, with an additional 130 positions projected for 2026 and 2027. The facility is slated to become operational by October 1, 2025, following necessary upfits.

The new plant will manufacture high-quality apparel for premium and luxury brands. Industry veteran Fernando Herradon will lead operations at the Clinton facility, bringing decades of experience and leadership to the site.

LG Textile Corp will temporarily occupy the building located at 409 Southeast Blvd in Clinton, NC, while actively seeking a larger facility to accommodate its projected plans for growth.

Company founder Lora Glenn, a 2023 graduate of NC State’s Wilson College of Textiles, continues a family legacy rooted in North Carolina’s textile industry. Her great-grandfather, R.B. Dawkins, operated textile plants in the 1930s and 1940s. Glenn has assembled a highly experienced leadership team, with most members having over 20 years of industry expertise.
