Sampson Community College is inviting local businesses and industries to connect with students and community members at its Fall Career Fair on Tuesday, November 17, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Sampson Community College Activity Center.

For Sampson County employers, the Career Fair is more than an opportunity to fill an open position. It is an opportunity to build relationships with the local workforce, introduce students to career opportunities, and help shape the talent pipeline for our community.

Employers are encouraged to participate whether they are actively hiring today or simply interested in developing connections with future employees. Organizations can use the event to share information about full-time and part-time employment, internships, work-based learning opportunities, apprenticeships, and career pathways.

Why Should Local Employers Participate?

Sampson County businesses and industries need a strong, skilled workforce to remain competitive and continue growing. Connecting employers with students early can help young people better understand the career opportunities available in their own community while giving businesses an opportunity to identify and develop potential future employees.

The Career Fair provides employers with a chance to:

• Meet students who are preparing for careers in a variety of fields.
• Introduce students to your company and the careers you offer.
• Promote internships, apprenticeships, and work-based learning opportunities.
• Recruit for current and future employment needs.
• Build relationships with potential future employees before they enter the workforce.
• Help students understand the skills and qualifications needed for careers in your industry.

Location: Sampson Community College Activity Center
Cost: Free for participating employers

Each participating organization will have space for a table and the opportunity to interact directly with SCC students and community members. Additional information regarding employer setup will be provided to registered participants.

Employers are asked to register by October 20, 2026.
